These dudes are the absolute coolest. Who knew you could get drinks from a literal latte art championship competitor in Portland? Ask for Eddie if you’re looking for excellence. They do super exciting stuff with flavors (guava matcha... banana miso latte...) and are so warm and inviting. Definitely one of the best cafes in Portland. Don't really have a preference on your drink? Fear not, they’ll cook up something delicious for you. Trust.

This was the first shop I visited in Portland as someone coming from out of state. The menu has something for everyone and the baristas are very accommodating with how you want your drink. Very efficient and exceptional service. The owner was also very kind. I ordered an ube latte to go and was amazed by the seahorse latte art that accompanied the great taste of my drink. 12/10 experience, would recommend this as a must-go for anyone looking to grab coffee in Portland

Visited this coffee shop on my little vacation away from cali. Let me tell ya, the vibes here were immaculate. I had their lattes every morning while up there and I miss them already. The coffee shops in cali really don't measure in comparison. If you have the time, stop by have a chat with the owner Bryce. Thank you No Pref!

Holy latte art. There is absolute beautiful care taken into the taste and presentation of these drinks. We got the banana miso latte and although the banana was missing for us, it was still tasty and incredibly smooth. Not pictured are their breakfast sandwiches - they may not look like anything fancy, but dang they are tasty. Our friend has the bacon one and loved it, my husband got the turkey one and said it was very flavorful (he also loved the hot sauce that comes with each one), and I got the chorizo one. They tasted very fresh. It looks very small upon walking in but there is a little downstairs area with more seating that was pretty chill. Staff is super nice and seem to enjoy their jobs. Would recommend!

No pref is my #1 coffee shop even with so many options in the neighborhood. They have incredible pour overs (try the strawberry co-ferment), unique and delicious lattes and best of all just good humans taking care of you. So happy this place exists!

my favorite coffee shop in portland omg... the quality of the coffee is great and the specialty and flavored lattes are made with house made syrups and are very fun, creative, and actually good. staff is great, you can tell they all a part of the vision here and that they enjoy being there. eddie josh and bryce are so so nice, great, and can pour a bonkers latte. very fun atmosphere very chill and casual small seating up in front and a bigger area downstairs to sit where you can post up for working. my favorite is the ube blossom latte and they usually have a funky pour-over available that's always great

The inside is unassuming and charming. Great music and vibe. Staff are so pleasant. Both outdoor and indoor seating. The chorizo breakfast sandwich and cardamom latte are SO YUM. I had to go back for seconds lol

Talk about a coffee shop! Roasting their own Coffee as well as Diverso Coffee Roasters, No Preference serves some really great product, including some fun and funky naturals. Menu includes all the usual suspects from drip coffee to milk beverages, and seasonal specialties that are always on point. A welcoming, cozy, and creative space, with fantastic staff, this one is not to be missed. PS: don’t skip the GameCube on the lower level
